AFFRAY

If you have been arrested on suspicion of committing this offence then the first thing the police will want to do is to interview under caution.  During the interview you will be asked questions concerning your suspected involvement in the offence.

It is therefore crucial that you ensure that you are represented during this process so that you are given legal advice prior to the interview.

If you chose not to be represented at your initial attendance/detention at the police station then you should contact a solicitor before you either go back to the police station or if you have been charged with an offence.

If convicted of this offence then the court can punish you with a prison sentence of upto 6 months in the Magistrates Court or 3 years in the Crown Court.

Please contact us now for more information and have a free no obligation consultation with one of our solicitors.
